This year, Small Business Saturday falls on November 29, 2025. It’s a day dedicated to supporting the small businesses that are integral to our communities and economy.  According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, small businesses comprise over 98% of Michigan businesses and employ half of Michigan workers.

For every $100 spent at a local business, roughly $68 stays in the local economy, supporting business and job growth. If Michigan consumers redirected just 10% of their estimated $30.3 billion in out-of-state commerce and remote sales, it could increase Michigan employment and boost incomes.
