General Residents Meeting Recap

by | Jan 7, 2026 | Uncategorized

On December 9, approximately 100 residents attended our semi-annual Residents Meeting, with an additional 10 residents joining remotely. During the meeting, the Board of Directors shared updates on UDCA financials, the Special Assessment District, progress made by the Locker Room Task Force, enhanced website and communication strategies, beautification efforts and new signage, as well as membership updates and plans for the 2026 Home Tour.

We were also pleased to welcome a special representative from DTE, who provided insights into budget strategy and electric vehicles and led a brief Q&A session. In addition, DTE generously donated $1,000 in support of UDCA’s mission.

Special thanks to our volunteers who helped the meeting run smoothly – Danielle Bluford, Danielle Bean Jackson, Septima Childress, Mary Jo Smith, Rise Pinkston Smith, Aimee Ridella, Cassandra Spratling, and Cynthia Shore Banks.
