SUMMARY:Home Tour Planning Committee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to our kick off meeting for the next UDCA Historic Home Tour. \nThe UDCA Historic Home Tour is one of our favorite neighborhood traditions—a chance to share the beauty\, history\, and personality of our homes with visitors from across Detroit and the metro area. It’s also one of UDCA’s primary fundraisers\, supporting community programs\, events\, neighborhood beautification\, preservation efforts\, and more. The tour takes place every two years\, and both Kathleen’s home and mine were featured on the 2024 tour. \nThis meeting will focus on the early stages of planning\, and we’d love for you to come ready with ideas and enthusiasm. The Home Tour truly takes many hands to make it a success\, and there are lots of ways to contribute—big and small. \nIf you know friends or community members who might be interested in volunteering\, please feel free to invite them to attend. If they can’t make the meeting but want to help\, send me their contact information and I’ll be sure to include them in future committee communications. \nIn person attendance is preferable\, but if you can’t make it and still want to participate\, you can join us via Zoom.
